The Design
A nuclear weapons' design is difficult to explain. Basically, inside the outer shell of the bomb, an atom is either separated into two new atoms (Nuclear Fission) or two atoms are joined together to form a single atom (Nuclear Fusion). This is what happens inside an atomic bomb.
